The Reserva Ecológica de Guapiaçu (REGUA) was established in 2001 to protect the remaining forests of the Guapiaçu valley, about 70 kilometres north of Rio de Janeiro in south-east Brazil.

In this six minute film commissioned by Wildscreen Exchange, Michael Palin takes you on a tour of REGUA, introducing some of the people who make this project possible, and explains why the Atlantic Forest needs our help.
